The Oak Barn wedding venue is such a stunning location and Victoria & Jamie really made their day super special. I started the day with Victoria and her bridal party whilst they were getting ready in the Linhay Barn. There was an awesome nervous energy to Victoria and the bridal party’s morning as they looked forward to the day ahead. Jamie and the guys were also getting ready at The Oak Barn so I spent some time with them as they prepared for the day.

The ceremony was beautiful, with a barn full of Victoria’s family and friends, it was a truly amazing ceremony to be a part of.

After the ceremony all the guests joined the bride & groom outside to enjoy drinks and canapes in the sun. The Oak Barn has some stunning outside areas and throughout the day they were made use of in many different ways. The drinks and canapes were held out the rear of the barn on the patio, with the stunning oak tree in the background. We used the oak tree as a backdrop for our formal group shots and then headed to the front of the barn for a confetti tunnel, which was such a fun moment of the day and resulted in some stunning photos.

Before the wedding breakfast and the speeches I took a few moments out with Victoria & Jamie to capture some stunning couples portraits around the grounds of The Oak Barn. Both of them were great in font of the camera, super relaxed and they just enjoyed the few moments away from their guests together.

The speeches marked the start of the evening reception, with lots of laughter throughout the speeches as Victoria’s Dad, Jamie and his bestman took to the floor with their speeches. As the sun went down the guests retired outside again to enjoy the evening light and some more drinks. The relaxed vibe of the evening continued as the guests joined Victoria and Jamie to cut the cake and then to their first dance. The dance floor was soon filled once the bride and groom’s first dance had finished and everyone really got into the party mood.
