VICKY & LEWIS | DILLINGTON HOUSE WEDDING | DEVON WEDDING

This was my first Dillington House wedding, and I was really looking forward to spending the day there with Vicky, Lewis and their guests. I joined Vicky and the girls in the morning as they were getting ready, there was a little nervous energy in the air but for the most part, they were quite relaxed.  The girls were getting ready in one of the rooms upstairs in the main house so they had lots of room to do their hair and makeup as well as to just chill and enjoy the morning.

Once the girls were ready we took a few photos outside the front of Dillington House and then I headed off to meet Lewis and the boys at the church.

The church ceremony was beautiful, filled with Vicky & Lewis’ family and friends.  After the ceremony, we took some group photos out in the churchyard and then a beautiful set of confetti photos before we headed back to Dillington House for the reception. When the guests arrived at Dillington there were drinks and canapes waiting for them and many headed straight outside to enjoy the nice weather and beautiful grounds that the house has.

As the guests moved to take their seats for the speeches and wedding breakfast, I took Vicky & Lewis for a little wander around the grounds of Dillington House to capture some stunning couples portraits.  It was so nice having a few minutes to capture Vicky & Lewis together and they made it so easy by being so relaxed and just focusing on eachother the whole time.

The wedding speeches had the guests fully encapsulated with Vicky’s father, Lewis and his two bestmen sharing some funny, some more emotional and some embarrassing stories with everyone. There was a fantastic atmosphere in the room and this carried on into the evening reception where they were joined by iRock Band who really got the party started and got all the guests dancing.
