SUSANNAH & PAUL | TRENDERWAY FARM | CORNWALL WEDDING

The two things I say to people who ask what I like about wedding photography are: people, and how unique each wedding is. Susannah and Paul’s Trenderway Farm wedding definitely hits the spot on both of these!

Susannah and Paul had planned their wedding day to a slightly different timeline than more traditional weddings as they wanted to allow as many people as possible to come to their ceremony and to be a part of their big day. With this in mind, their plan was to stay at the church for a couple of hours after the church ceremony to have refreshments and to give the bride and groom time to talk to everyone who had come to the service. This was a beautiful time, with lots of great interactions for me to photograph. Before Susannah and Paul left the church for their smaller reception, they wanted to cut the cake with everyone there so everyone could feel even more a part of the wedding day

I had never photographed a Trenderway Farm wedding before and was really looking forward to Susannah and Paul’s reception there as it is a stunning location. They planned to have a really relaxed time at the farm with their smaller number of guests, including a pub quiz-style quiz for their guests to enjoy. The quiz featured question rounds about the couple, as well as medical questions [as Susannah works in that field] and a variety of other topics. After the quiz there was time for more drinks out in the marquee whilst the ceilidh band set up.

Once the ceilidh band were ready to go it was time for the evening festivities to kick off and all the guests really got into the swing of things, joining Susannah and Paul on the dancefloor to enjoy the evening. I had an awesome time photographing this relaxed wedding, it was a pleasure to spend the day with everyone and to be part of another really unique wedding day.
