RACHEL & ALEX | ROCKBEARE MANOR | DEVON WEDDING

Rachel & Alex’s Rockbeare Manor wedding was a great day to be a part of. I photograph a fair few weddings at Rockbeare Manor; so each time I go there for a wedding I aim to look for something different; location, angle or different light. The joy about each wedding is that the guests bring a unique element and it’s really the people at a wedding that make the day for me; after all they are a large part of the story on that day.

We had great weather for Rachel & Alex’s wedding day which meant that their family and friends could enjoy the amazing grounds around Rockbeare Manor. Most of the day guests were relaxing and mingling out in the sun, with a drink in hand.

After some great speeches and wedding breakfast all the guests headed back outside into the evening sun. One thing I love about Rockbeare Manor weddings is the evening light; Rockbeare is positioned perfectly to make the most of the sunset. Capturing candid shots of guests enjoying themselves in that light is awesome and then some golden hour couples portraits is the stuff of photographer’s dreams.

Rachel & Alex cut their wedding cake and then went straight into a beautiful first dance. This kicked off the evening with all their guests joining them on the dance floor, to dance the night away accompanied by the Swing Kings who really do know how to bring the party!  A brilliant day all around.  Thank you for inviting me to help keep those memories for all time.
