This barn wedding was extra special as the reception was on James’ parent’s farm. The two dad’s had spent the last year renovating the barn from a working near the derelict barn to one of the nicest rustic barns I have photographed. Nicky & James had decorated it and surrounding areas so it all looked stunning and a covered outside bar and seating area was a brilliant addition to the space, especially in the wet weather we had. The reception, like the rest of the day, was full of so much emotion and an awesome atmosphere, this carried into the evening as the dance floor filled up straight after the first dance.
This barn wedding was an absolutely brilliant day and I had a great time documenting it. With so many stunning DIY touched it was clear to see how much time nd effort had gone into Nicky & James’ big day.
