JAMES & CLARA | MARQUEE WEDDING | DEVON WEDDING

The pandemic has caused havoc with the wedding industry and with so many couples who had planned their wedding. James & Clara experienced this first-hand with their wedding plans having to be drastically changed. But these two rose to the challenge, completely flipping their wedding plans on it’s head and changing the style to an informal marquee wedding in the countryside. They also decided to split their church ceremony and reception up onto separate days so they could still get married but wait till later in the summer to have less of a limited guest count.

They had a stunning intimate church wedding, with just close family and a few friends present due to covid restriction, but this didn’t stop the ceremony being full of smiles all round. When it came to the reception the restrictions allowed for a larger guest count so James & Clara could invite more family and friends to celebrate with them. A marquee wedding was the perfect way to keep things a little safer with covid as they could keep the sides open and the whole marquee aerated.

Weddings as the restrictions lifted seemed to have the most amazing atmosphere to them, people seemed so grateful to be able to be out socialise and have possibly the first proper party they’d had in such a long time. This wedding wedding was no different, everyone was on top form, having the most amazing time and enjoying the late evening sun.
