Laura & Sam’s Shilstone House wedding was one incredible day. The relaxed morning began with Laura and the girls preparing for the big day at the family home, near the church. Laura had chosen to wear her mum’s wedding dress and the shots of her mum helping her dress are filled with emotion, pride and love. You could see how much it meant to Laura’s mum for her dress to be worn again by her own daughter on her wedding day.
The church was moments from the house, so Laura walked down with her bridesmaids, mum and father, who had come up to the house to join them. The ceremony was lovely, quite unique to a normal church wedding as Laura and Sam had got married a few weeks before in America. With Laura’s American heritage and her brother a Pastor, Laura and Sam were married by him on a mountain with just a few close friends. So the church ceremony was a blessing, with the warmth and beauty of all their family and friends celebrating with them.
