I had never shot a Hayne Barn wedding before so I was looking forward to Ian & Alice’s wedding and it really didn’t disappoint.

I started the day with Alice and girls at a family members house not far from the church. It was a really relaxed morning with just the three girls, a few family, as well as myself and the hairdresser. Once the girls where ready I left to meet Ian at the church where he was ready and greeting the guests on their arrival. After a beautiful ceremony, Alice & Ian left the church to a long confetti line down the church path.

Hayne Barn is a super interesting venue with a number of different spaces, the covered but open sided barn was where Ian & Alice were having their wedding breakfast and it had been made up beautifully. There table and room decorations really did fit the vibe of the barn and it all came together to look stunning.

Once at the barn Alice & Ian joined their guests on the patio for some drinks and canapes. Hayne Barn has some stunning views and Ian and Alice had really made use of the outside space, maximizing seating and having some outdoor games too.

After some time enjoying the views and lovely weather, it was time for the speeches. There were lots of laughs shared throughout the speeches as numerous stories were told about Ian and one or two about Alice too. After the speeches & wedding breakfast, as the evening drew in, everyone was outside again enjoying the lovely weather and views, with a fire pit to keep the chill off it really did have a brilliant atmosphere to the evening.

I finished off photographing just after Ian & Alice had taken their first dance. With all the guests in the barn there was a lovely atmosphere for Ian and Alice’s first dance and that carried on as guests joined them on the dance floor.

This Hayne Barn wedding was such a beautiful occasion and I am so looking forward to photographing another wedding there soon.
