I loved shooting this marquee wedding, Emily & Alex are awesome people and their guests were great fun too. I started the day at their house with Emily and the girls as they prepared for the big day. It was a really relaxed atmosphere and the girls seem in great spirits as they had their hair and make up done. I headed just down the road to where the guys were getting ready to capture a few photos of them, before they left for the church. There was a little more of a nervous atmosphere with them but still plenty of excitement too. When I got back to Emily it was time for her to put her wedding dress on and we got some stunning photos of the back of the dress being done up, as she stood in the window.

The ceremony was an amazing occasion, with a full church and a lovely feel to the whole event. After the ceremony the couple had some time with their guests outside the church before heading off down the road. On the way to the reception the couple stopped off and we took some photos with Emily’s horse, this beautiful moment gave Emily & Alex a few quiet moments alone before the reception and we also captured some stunning photos too.

I love a good marquee wedding and this was definitely one of them, with an outdoor piano player, a lake and such stunning surroundings, it was an amazing day. The speeches from the father of the bride, Alex and his best man where brilliant and the atmosphere into the evening was super relaxed as even more of Emily & Alex’s friends and family arrived to celebrate with them. They shared a stunning first dance together and then the band kicked off and guests filled the dance floor ready to dance the night away.
