BRIDE: THE WEDDING SHOW | WEDDING PLANNING

This weekend we had the privilege of going to one of the largest Wedding Show in Devon – Bride The Wedding Show, held at Westpoint Arena in Exeter. It is an event that happens twice a year and sees over a hundred wedding suppliers and venues gather together to showcase what they can offer to you for your wedding day.

Four of us attended this year and we all had great conversations with many brides-to-be, their friends and family members. It’s always so interesting to hear what each of you have planned for your big day! We love listening to your ideas and helping to see your dreams for your big day become a reality.

Setting up the stand is always a difficult but fun process, we love to try and portray the style of wedding photography that we offer through our space. This year we had a real modern but chilled feel to our stand, clean white lines and homey touches like vintage cameras and plants. A large white table enabled us to have albums on display that allowed you to view a whole wedding day and aid you to imagine what kind of story our photographs could tell of your special day.

Being able to showcase some of our favourite photos in large frames is a real joy although it’s hard to pick such a small number of our favourite images sometimes! It’s so important to us to capture the variety of moments that happen at a wedding from the nervous laughs at the bridal preparations to the crazy dancing from the guests after the couple has tied the knot.

Another great aspect of Bride – The Wedding Show is that we get to meet up with some of our favourite vendors and wedding suppliers that we have worked with throughout the year. It’s great to catch up on things we’ve learnt or weddings that have been memorable.
