BETH & DUNC | POLZEATH WEDDING | CORNWALL WEDDING
I loved Beth & Dunc’s Polzeath wedding, I met them a few years back at Beth’s cousin’s wedding; [Check it out here] after seeing me work and the images I produced for Harriet & Rich, they booked me for their wedding day. These two were so relaxed which, if you have read my other blogs, I am sure you will see the trend here. The day started for me at a beach-side car park where I met Dunc and his groomsmen. We had a ten minute walk to the church, located in the middle of a sand dune golf course; after capturing Dunc welcoming the guests I set off to meet Beth, who was walking down from a house, just above the golf course.
The ceremony was beautiful with so many of Beth & Dunc’s family and friends crammed into the tiny, but stunning church. On their exit all the guests lined the pathway with confetti in hand, to congratulate the newly married couple. We then all walked down to the beach where Beth, Dunc and their guests had drinks enjoying the incredible weather and surroundings.
After drinks on the beach I took Beth & Dunc for some photos along the coast, whilst their guests made their way to the marquee for the reception. There were some beautiful spots on the beach for couples portraits and then we headed to the cliffs of Polzeath, for a few more photos overlooking the iconic surf beach.
When we entered the marquee there were more drinks and canapes before everyone headed inside for speeches and food. With brilliant speeches given by Beth’s dad, Dunc and his two best men, the evening’s festivities really got started. After cutting the cake the bride and groom headed to the dance floor, for their first dance.
This was my first Polzeath wedding and I had a great time down there; I loved documenting Beth & Dunc’s special day. It was a pleasure to spend the day with their family and friends and to capture all the events of the day.
