ANGELIQUE & DREW | MIDDLE COOMBE FARM | DEVON WEDDING

I hadn’t shot a Middle Coombe Farm wedding before and after meeting Angelique and Drew there before the wedding day, I was really looking forward to it! These two are such a wonderfully relaxed couple, I knew their wedding day was going to be something different and unique.

Both the bride & groom were getting ready in different barns at Middle Coombe Farm in the morning and it was great to get photos of all the bridal party preparations, as well as some of the family and friends. Everyone was watching the weather due to the ceremony be outside in a glade, about a mile through the woods. They were all well prepared with wellies, coats and umbrellas, it was going to happen come rain or shine.

The ceremony in the glade was followed by the speeches; Angelique and Drew wanted to do the speeches there too, to make the most of the spectacular setting. This was a lovely moment whilst there were four or five speeches from close family and friends, before everyone made their way back down to the farm and left me with the bride & groom to take some couples portraits.

The afternoon and evening were really relaxed, with guests playing games in the grass in front of the barns and people chilling out on the patio. We had lovely evening light after the morning’s weather so everyone was making the most of it.

I had an awesome day with Angelique, Drew and their guests, this was a beautifully personalised wedding day and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of it. My first Middle Coombe farm wedding was a real success and I hope to be back there soon!
