ALICE & JOE | BRUNEL MANOR | DEVON WEDDING

Alice & Joe’s Brunel Manor wedding day was so “them” throughout it all, with so many DIY elements they had really made their wedding totally their own.

I met Joe and his groomsmen at the church where they were finishing getting ready and welcoming guests. Joe was his usual enthusiastic self but you could tell there was a little nervous energy in there too.  Alice arrived with her dad who walked her down the aisle to meet Joe. The ceremony was lovely and you could feel the sense of celebration and happiness in the air. Alice and Joe left the church fist pumping the air and then out to a stunning confetti line where their guests filled the car park wanting to congratulate the newlyweds.

As soon as we got to Brunel Manor Alice, Joe and myself went off to capture some couples portraits around the grounds whilst their guests arrived.  I had never shot a Brunel Manor wedding before but the grounds are stunning and there is so much space to create some beautiful couples portraits.   Alice & Joe joined their guests outside for a drink where they could enjoy the amazing view over Torbay and the lovely weather we had.  After a handful of family group shots, it was time for the wedding speeches, Alice’s dad gave a beautiful speech but it was Joe who stole the show with a gorgeous speech to and about his new wife.

Alice and Joe brought in the evening with a stunning outdoor first dance, we had the perfect weather for it and the absolutely beautiful grounds made it even nicer. It was a pleasure to document this incredibly relaxed and beautiful wedding day, I had a blast and loved all the little details that Alice & Joe had done to make the wedding their own.
