Sarah & Benji's Langdon Court Wedding was a romantic summer wedding last year. The day started at Sarah's parents’ house with her and her bridesmaids. It was a morning full of emotion with some tears shed and lots of laughter too.
After the bridal preparations I drove to Langdon Court where the men, having just arrived, were making some final adjustments to the venue. Langdon court is a really stunning venue and we were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather; this meant Sarah & Benji's wedding ceremony could be held outdoors.
Sat all around the bandstand, the guests were made to feel involved with this special ceremony. Amongst the dramatic scenery of Langdon Court the outdoor wedding was a dream to photograph in natural light. After the ceremony there was time for the guests to mingle, congratulate the newlyweds and take in the delightful environment of Langdon Court.
Then came the formal group photographs, following which Sarah, Benji & I drove down to Wembury beach to take some couple’s portraits. The clifftop made a dramatic spot for a number of really beautiful couple’s photographs which really captured the beautiful scenery and Sarah & Benji's love for each other in those first few private moments.
Back at Langdon court the guests were enjoying some vintage lawn games and drinks in the garden. The rest of the afternoon and into the evening was a relaxed time which led to some great reportage wedding photographs.
The evening finished for me with the bridal couple’s dance; such a beautiful moment with Sarah's cousin singing as they took to the dance floor as a married couple for the first time.
It was a really great day capturing Sarah & Benji's beautiful Devon wedding. I always consider it such a privilege to be part of a newlyweds amazing wedding day.
