Natasha and Andy’s wedding was a beautiful occasion, the wedding day took place in Bovey Castle which is a stunning location for a wedding. Bridal preparations took place at The White Hart Hotel where a lot of family members were staying as well as Natasha and her bridesmaids. It was a relaxed morning of preparations with a lovely atmosphere due to having all the family staying as well.
The ceremony was really emotional and as an outsider you could really feel the love Natasha and Andy had for each other and that the families had for them.
Bovey Castle is a stunning location for weddings with beautiful rooms and amazing grounds. After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the lounge, giving Natasha and Andy time to chat to friends and family who were eager to congratulate them.
Being winter we had had some really wet weather the week or two before the wedding day but luckily on the day we were blessed with great weather. This meant we could go out to take some formal family photographs and head out around the grounds with the couple for couples portraits too. The size of Bovey Castle’s beautiful grounds meant a golf buggy was needed to enable us to spend some time capturing photos on the stunning bridge over the lake.
After we had finished with the couples portraits it was time for the wedding breakfast followed by speeches. Again it was so evident to see the love that friends and family had for Natasha and Andy and that they had for eachother. It was truly an honour to be part of their special day.
The evening reception took place in Bovey Castle’s separate events hall which soon filled up with evening guests joining the wedding party too.
It was such a love filled wedding in a beautiful location and such a pleasure to a part of it. Thank you Natasha and Andy for asking me to photograph your gorgeous wedding day.
