Jack & Minami's Lynmouth wedding was particularly unique as they had already got married that week in Japan. Their wedding party flew from Japan to England to have a second English wedding in Lynmouth, North Devon, to celebrate with more of their family and friends.
I met Jack at the hotel with his groomsmen and father where they were getting ready; despite getting married earlier that week in Japan, Jack was still a little nervous. The church was opposite the hotel so Jack and the groomsmen could relax knowing they didn't have to travel far to the ceremony.
The church ceremony was classical, a blessing over their marriage; exactly what they wanted after their traditional Japanese wedding, earlier in the week. With the rain making an appearance as the bridal party left the church, umbrellas were put to good use but this led to some beautiful photographs of Jack & Minami.
Jack & Minami had planned an informal afternoon, with a meal and some speeches along with the band, Bicycle Repair Man, to perform some music for the couples first dance and evening entertainment.
I loved the warm, relaxed atmosphere of the whole day and it really suited Jack & Minami, as well as their guests. Lynmouth is a stunning part of Devon and perfect for an intimate wedding like this. It was delightful for Jack & Minami's guests, who had travelled from around the country, to see such a beautiful area.
It was a pleasure to photograph Jack & Minami's gorgeous Lynmouth wedding and I really enjoyed the whole day with it's relaxed atmosphere. Here's to the happy couple.
